Basil Infused Olive Oil

Basil Infused Olive Oil


¼ cup olive oil
1 tsp Crushed Garlic
¼ tsp Sea Salt
2 Tbsp Fresh Basil
1 Tbsp Cilantro
1⁄8 tsp red pepper flakes

Take the cucumbers and slice a couple good slices out of the middle. I use a slicer, but you can use a knife or using a wide vegetable peeler will give you a consistent slice. We will save the rest of the cucumber for the filling. We are going to curve the cucumber together and then you can attach them together with a decorative pick. What I do is just do an angle cut on each end and then hook them together. Then take the diced apples and splash with the lemon juice and mix in well. This will keep them from turning brown. For the diced cucumbers, I use the leftovers from the slices that I took out of the cucumbers. For the strawberries, slice off the stems and then do a thin flat slice so you can get the strawberry shape. Gently mix in all the additional ingredients and gently place in the cucumber cylinder. You can also add nuts for a crunchy addition. Splash with the infused olive oil.
